One man is in custody after a chase involving Springfield police and Greene County deputies.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office says the pursuit began Sunday around 2 pm on Kansas Expressway near Norton Road.
The chase, which reached speeds up to 65 miles per hour while going down Kansas Expressway, involved several deputies and Springfield police officers.
It ended when deputies were able to box in the suspect near Kansas and Sunshine and the driver was taken into custody.
Authorities say the driver was possibly impaired at the time.
