One person is in the hospital after being shot at a home in Springfield.
Authorities were called to the scene near the intersection of Douglas Avenue and Madison Street in Springfield Tuesday morning.
They found the victim with a gunshot wound and rushed them to the hospital. The victim is in stable condition, according to police.
SPD has not made any arrests in the case at this time as the investigation is still ongoing and officers try to gather more information.
