A Springfield television station is reporting that a Cassville doctor’s death was suicide.
KYTV reports that the Arkansas Medical Examiner has ruled Dr. John Forsyth’s death a suicide.
However the Benton County Arkansas Sheriff’s Department says this is still an open and ongoing investigation.
In May of 2023, Dr. Forsyth was reported missing when he didn’t show up for work at Mercy Hospital in Cassville.
His body was found by a kayaker at Beaver Lake in near Rogers, Arkansas.
