The Greene County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the death of a child at a daycare.
According to a news release, deputies responded to a report of an unresponsive child at an in-home daycare on Pearson Drive on Tuesday.
The deputies took over giving the child C-P-R and continued assisting while the child was being transported to the hospital.
The child died at the hospital.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
