The final day for candidates to file for statewide office was yesterday, and Missouri residents are still reeling from the frenzy.
Senator Mary Elizabeth Coleman has called off her run for Congress and now has declared for the Secretary of State position. Earlier in the day Speaker Of The Missouri House Dean Plocher also switched races from Lt. Governor to the Secretary of State’s race.
Other major players in that race include Greene County Clerk Shane Schoeller, Rep. Adam Schwadron, and Senator Denny Hoskins. Senate Pro Tem Caleb Rowden recently dropped out of the race.
