Nearly 2,000 Springfield City Utilities customers spent part of their weekend with no power after a damaged utility pole resulted in an equipment failure.
Most of the outages were centered around Lakewood Village in South Springfield starting around 5:45 Sunday morning.
Crews had power restored by 10:30 a.m.
