One person is in the hospital after being shot near Drury University.
Police responded to a report of shots fired on North Clay Avenue between Webster and Pythian Sunday evening.
When officers arrived, they found an 18-year-old girl with a gunshot wound. She was transported to an area hospital where she is expected to recover.
Investigators say the shooting was between two groups that knew each other, both with a history of criminal activity.
No suspects are in custody at this time.
