MO Department of Conservation to Decide on Price Increases for Hunting and Fishing Permits

The Missouri Department of Conservation will decide in September on raising the prices of hunting and fishing licenses.

Department Deputy Director Aaron Jeffries says costs have gone up and the additional revenue is needed to continue programs.

Many permits have not increased in price since the 1980s. An in-state hunting and fishing license would go up a dollar, from 19-20 dollars.

The department is accepting public comment on the increases until July 4th.
