The Missouri Senate has passed a budget after debating it much of the morning on Wednesday.
It contains 50 million dollars in school safety grants.
Not included in the budget is the effort to defund diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
It will go to the House for a vote before going to the Governor. It must be on the Governor’s desk by May 5th.
