The identity of the driver has been released, 41-year-old Bobby Jones of Nixa.
First responders declared him dead at the scene.
ORIGINAL:
A motorcyclist has died in a crash in Springfield early this morning.
Investigators say the motorcyclist hit a curb on Grand East of Grant shortly after 2:30 this morning. Police have not released the name of the victim pending notification of next of kin.
