Greene County deputies say one person suffered a gunshot wound to the leg Tuesday morning at the Dale Sare Conservation Area off Farm Road 141 north of Springfield.
Authorities say the shooting happened on a camping site, and a second person who was with the victim is cooperating with deputies.
The condition of the shooting victim has not been released.
