A woman has escaped a fire in her home in Nixa.
Fire crews responded to flames in the 900 block of east Reed Lane around 8 p.m. Monday.
Fire officials say the woman was sleeping when a neighbor called 911 to report the flames.
Investigators say the house is likely a total loss.
