Wintry Weather Forcing Schools to Dismiss Early Thursday

A wintry mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow has caused many schools in the Ozarks who did go to class Thursday to dismiss students early.

Here are the public schools and colleges in the Ozarks dismissing classes early:

Ava (early dismissal at 12:30 p.m.)

Blue Eye (early dismissal at 1:00 p.m.)

Bolivar (closing early at 12:15 p.m. )

Bradleyville (early dismissal at 12:30 p.m.)

Branson (early dismissal 2 hours Thursday HS: 12:30 JH: 12:40, BI: 1:30, CR&BE: 1:45

Bunker (early dismissal at 12:00 p.m. )

Fordland (closing early at 12:30 p.m.)

Forsyth (early dismissal 1 hour….early release at 12:30 p.m. )

Hollister (early dismissal 2 hours….dismissing at 1:00 p.m.)

Houston (closing early at 12:00 p.m.)

Kirbyville (closing early at 12:45 p.m. MS at 12:45 and ES at 12:55)

Logan-Rogersville (closing early 2 hours 12:30 and 1:30)

Manes (early dismissal at 11:15 a.m.)

Mountain Grove (early dismissal at 11:30 a.m. HS and MS 11:30, ES 11:45)

Nixa (early dismissal one hour)

Ozark (early dismissal one hours)

Plainview (early dismissal at 12:30 p.m.)
