Widespread Rain Wednesday, Then Wintry Weather Into Thursday

Widespread rainfall is likely in the Ozarks Wednesday and Wednesday night, then wintry precipitation is looking more likely for late Wednesday night into Thursday, especially in areas north of I-44

The National Weather Service says we’ll have showers and storms with thunder and lightning, with a heavy rain threat on Wednesday before changing over to a wintry mix, then transitioning to more snow before ending.

We are not expecting significant accumulations of ice or snow, but roads could become slick even with smaller amounts of wintry weather.
