Highway Patrol Says Pilot Failed Breathalyzer

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the pilot of a plane that crashed Tuesday at a private airstrip at Table Rock Lake failed a breathalyzer test.

The Highway Patrol says 44 year old James Porter of Wichita, Kansas, exhibited signs of intoxication at the scene.

After he failed the breathalyzer test, he was booked into the Stone County Jail.

The Federal Aviation Administration is still investigating the crash.
