Two people have been charged in connection to the death of a Galena man.
The Highway Patrol says 57-years-old Shelia Phillips and 54-years-old Gerald Hoffman, both from Galena, are charged with two counts of tampering with physical evidence in connection with the death of 69 year Billy Mack Walker, also of Galena.
Walker’s nude body was found in the Sac River near Greenfield back in December.
An autopsy revealed he had died from a gunshot. They are being held in Stone County jail without bond.
