Police in Branson are investigating human skeletal remains found off Fall Creek Road.
Officers say someone found the remains around noon on Wednesday and called 911.
Authorities say when they arrived, they located several remains in a heavily wooded area.
The Taney County coroner is coordinating with a forensic odonatologist and medical personnel to identify the remains and find a cause of death.
