Moderna and J&J Booster Shots Now Being Given To Eligible Missourians

The Moderna and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 booster shots are now being given to any eligible Missourian following aopproval by the FDA and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

If you received a Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, you’re eligible for a booster shot at six months or more after your initial series of shots is complete if you’re 65 and older, 18 and older living in long-term care settings, 18 and older with underlying medical conditions, or 18 and older living or working in high risk settings.

For those who got the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, booster shots are recommended at least two months after the initial dose.

Missourians can go to Vaccines.gov to check for vaccine appointments, or call the CDC’s COVID-19 Vaccine Hotline at 1-800-232-0233.
