Man Who Threatened Police With Gun Charged

A Dallas County man faces charges after an incident in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart in Marshfield last week.

Prosecutors have charged 66 year old Warren Branning of Long Lane with making terroristic threats, harassment and resisting arrest.

Wal-Mart employees called police about Branning’s behavior in the parking lot.

When law enforcement confronted him, Branning reached for one of the six loaded guns and then tried to flee by crawling under his pickup.

He is currently being held in the Webster County Jail.
