CoxHeath is continuing to report new daily records in hospitalizations due to COVID-19.
CEO Steve Edwards says 187 patients were being treated at CoxHealth facilities as of Sunday.
About eight weeks ago, that number stood at 28 patients.
Edwards says the rolling seven day average of new COVID-19 cases is stabilizing some, and while he’s preparing for the possibility of having well over 200 patients, projections call for leveling off about where we are.
