Woman from Kansas City Sentenced for Kidnapping, Sexual Assault in Springfield

A woman from Springfield will spend years in prison after allegedly taking part in the kidnapping and sexual assault of another woman in 2020.

Tiffany Lentz was sentenced Monday to 18 years in prison for charges of first-degree sodomy, among other charges.

The list of other charges, and the length of each sentence can be found below:

  • 18 years for sex trafficking
  • 15 years for first-degree kidnapping
  • 15 years for first-degree assault
  • Four years for unlawful use of a weapon
  • Three years for armed criminal action

Investigators say Lentz, as well as co-defendant Nicholas Madrid, kidnapped the victim and held her captive in a home in southwest Springfield.

The victim told police they were going to make her sell her body to pay off a debt. She was restrained using zip ties and medication that kept her drowsy and unconscious.

Prosecutors did not specify if Lentz charges would be served concurrently or separately.
