Judge Rules Josh Hawley Broke Public Record Laws to Further US Senate Campaign

A judge in central Missouri’s Cole County has ruled that the Attorney General’s office previously led by GOP Senator Josh Hawley broke public record laws on purpose to help his US Senate campaign.

Cole County Circuit Judge Jon Beetem fined the AG’s office 12 thousand dollars and Attorney Fees. That is the maximum penalty for violating Missouri’s open record laws.
