The Humane Society of Missouri’s Animal Cruelty Task Force has raided a dog breeder in Douglas County again.
Marilyn Shepard was recently found guilty of contempt for violating a 2021 consent agreement. Seven adult dogs were removed from Shepard’s property. Humane Society officials say several of the dogs had skin abrasions and other health issues.
Shepard may face criminal charges.
