The initiative to legalize marijuana in Missouri will do more than make recreational marijuana legal.
The proposed constitutional amendment would also impose a 6% tax on marijuana sales and require a registration card for growing up to six plants for personal use.
The measure would also allow most people with non-violent marijuana convictions to get out of jail, and have their criminal records cleared.
