State Representative Sara Walsh of Ashland, MO has decided to drop out of the race for US Congress in the 4th Congressional District.
Walsh has previously served as a State Representative in the Missouri House.
Walsh says that Ashland, part of Boone County, was moved out of the 4th district after redistricting was finalized, thus removing a large part of her support base from the district she was running for.
Ashland is now in the 3rd Congressional District.
Representative Sara Walsh will join ‘Wake Up Springfield’ with Former MO Speaker of the House Tim Jones on 93.3 FM- 560 AM, Tuesday at 7:45 AM CST, to discuss her withdrawal.
