The National Weather Service says a few strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible overnight Tuesday night into Wednesday morning in the Ozarks.
Damaging wind gusts will be the primary potential hazard, but quarter size hail and an isolated tornado are also possible.
Those storms should impact the Springfield metro area after 3 a.m. Wednesday. Additional strong to severe storms will be possible late Wednesday morning into the afternoon, with the best chances for bad weather along and southeast of a Branson to Rolla line.
