Man Arrested, Accused of Stealing over $60,000 from Branson Restaurant

Branson Police have arrested the former manager of a local restaurant who stole $62,000 from his place of employment.

23-year-old Quentin Evans, called “Pierce” was the manager at Jackie B. Goode Uptown Cafe in Branson. The investigation began after owners of the restaurant discovered the money had been stolen from credit card transactions that had been rerouted into another location.

Police found probable cause to investigate Evans, and he was subsequently charged. He faces Class C Felony Theft charges because the amount exceeded $25,000.

He is being held in Taney County on a $75,000 bond.
