By early afternoon, the MoDOT Traveler Information Map is showing highways in the Springfield metro area as clear or mostly clear to partly snow covered.
Several roads in the southeastern Ozarks were still showing “snow covered” on the map.

The main roads have been plowed in Springfield and continue to improve, but side roads and county roads, neighborhood streets and many parking lots are still snow packed.
If you’re traveling to Kansas City or St. Louis, roads are clear in the K-C area, but partly to mostly snow covered in St. Louis.
MoDOT says as of Friday morning, crews have traveled 1,000,000 miles since the start of the storm on Tuesday.
