James River Freeway Speed Limit Returns to 60 Miles Per Hour Between National and Highway 65

The speed limit on James River Freeway between National and Highway 65 in Springfield has returned to the original 60 miles per hour.

The speed limit had been at 50 miles per hour for safety reasons during construction of the barrier wall and new lanes of Highway 60.

The new east and westbound left lanes of James River Freeway are closed until final pavement is installed in the spring.
