Missouri’s health department is drawing up new guidelines to help schools keep children from catching COVID-19.
Department of Health and Senior Services Director Don Kauerauf said Thursday that the agency’s new guidance will provide a clearer instructions for how schools can keep children from getting sick or needing to quarantine.
He said he believes that kids need to stay in the classroom and his department is working on some material that will help schools and local health authorities.
