A man from Barry County has been charged with helping dispose of a murder victim’s body.
Court documents say 29-year-old Nathan Bates of Purdy is charged with tampering with evidence and abandonment of a corpse.
The victim, 55-year-old Marvin McCullough of Aurora, was shot in the back of the head and his body was found in a burned car on Farm Road 1170 in Verona.
