The city of Licking is getting a two and a half million dollar grant to upgrade its water distribution systems.
The grant is from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. The upgrades will include replacing several thousand feet of water mains, service lines, and hydrants.
The grant money comes from DNR’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund.
