Missouri Sports Hall Of Fame Fundraising May Soon Be Back On Track

The Springfield-based Missouri Sports Hall of Fame says an additional 150 thousand dollars is being distributed to charities from last year’s Price Cutter Charity Championship golf tournament.

In December, the non-profit revealed its shaky financial standing and announced the hiring of a new executive director, Rob Marsh. This is the second phase of funds given to the 47 charities of the tournament. The charities received more than $300,000 six weeks ago.

Marsh told the Springfield News-Leader the Hall of Fame has determined where its shortfalls were and has a new person handling the accounting.
