The Republican vs. Democrat ticket for Governor in Missouri is now official.
In a crowded field for the Republican gubernatorial nomination, Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe has defeated top candidates Bill Eigel and Jay Ashcroft, as both men conceded earlier Tuesday evening.
On the Democrat side of the field, Springfield-native Crystal Quade defeated fellow Springfieldian Mike Hamra to represent the other side of the aisle.
Kehoe and Quade will square off on November 5, 2024 for the chance to become the 58th Governor of Missoui, which dates back to Alexander McNair in 1820.
