Liberty Utilities has notified Bolivar residents of a potential spike in utility prices coming next year. The average current water bill is just over $38, while the new expected price is almost $70.
The city has hired a law firm to represent their concerns at a Missouri Public Utilities Commission hearing. Liberty Utilities also serves Christian, Taney, Stone, Lawrence, Barry and McDonald Counties
