The Missouri Ethics Commission has fined former gubernatorial candidate Jay Ashcroft and his campaign committee nearly $8,800 for campaign finance violations, citing exceeded contribution limits and failure to report in-kind contributions.
These violations took place during his campaign for Missouri governor, after he served as secretary of state from January 2017 to January 2025.
