Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is warning the winter weather forecast for this weekend may significantly disrupt blood donation efforts.
With inventory levels already strained because of increased hospital usage, CBCO leaders say widespread blood drive cancellations and reduced donor turnout could quickly affect the blood supply.
Eligible donors are being urged to give blood before the winter storm hits Friday night.
