The Republic School District is facing a lawsuit for not addressing racial harassment of a student.
The lawsuit was filed by Tyreke Williams and his mother, Allisha Hornbuckle, in Greene County Circuit Court.
The 65-page petition accuses the district of not addressing racial harassment Williams experienced during his attendance at Republic High School from 2021 to 2025.
It details instances of bullying, racial slurs, discrimination on the football team, and lack of support related to Williams’ 504 plan.
