Accumulating Snow Potential and Hazardous Cold in the Ozarks Friday Through Sunday

A wide-ranging winter storm will impact much of the southern and eastern portions of the country from Friday through Sunday, but the big question remains how much snow we’ll get in the Ozarks.

The National Weather Service says some locations may see accumulating snow, but amounts remain uncertain as models show two very different tracks of the system.

Regional travel may be affected, especially south into Oklahoma and Arkansas.

There’s a much greater confidence in hazardous cold weather conditions, with good chances for at least single digit low temps and below zero wind chills as we head into the weekend.

We’ll keep you up to date with the latest forecast updates on 93-3 and AM 560 KWTO.
