A weekend one-vehicle crash on Highway 86 in Barry County has killed a woman from Shell Knob.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crash report says Saturday afternoon’s crash in Golden happened when a Jeep Wrangler crossed the center line, overcorrected and went off the road and overturned.
The crash report says the 74-year-old female passenger, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 45-year-old driver, who is from Eagle rock, was life flighted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol does not release the names of traffic fatality victims.
