Springfield-Greene County 911 Emergency Communications is enhancing the mapping and addressing data for 911 call routing using Geographic Information System technology.
This technology enables the creation of digital maps that assist telecommunicators in determining locations during emergencies.
Spatial Data Research Inc will start collecting and verifying addressing information this month.
The project should be finished by May 2026.
