Missouri law requires you to move over or slow down when approaching a crash site, but first responders say there’s often a problem getting drivers to comply with the law.
The assistant chief of the Logan Rogersville Fire Protection District, Tim Clarkson, tells KY3 he was working a crash on Saturday with his vehicle parked to the side of the road with its emergency lights on, but vehicles wouldn’t slow down.
Clark had to park the vehicle in the oncoming lane to force people to stop.
