The Salvation Army of Springfield’s Red Kettle Campaign Kicks Off This Weekend

The Salvation Army of Springfield is officially launching its iconic Red Kettle Campaign with the 2025 Red Kettle Rally-Community Kickoff on Saturday, November 8 at Battlefield Mall.

This festive annual event starts at 11 a.m. and marks the start of the Christmas giving season, inviting the entire community to join in the spirit of generosity that powers The Salvation Army’s mission.

The rally will feature performances by the Children’s Chorus of Springfield and the Logan-Rogersville High School Band, as well as the Mascot Ring, where local mascots compete to raise the most donations and holiday cheer.

One of the highlights will be the much-anticipated announcement of the 2025 Red Kettle Campaign Goal, representing the vital community support needed to provide food, shelter, and hope to thousands of Ozarks residents during the holiday season and beyond.

The Salvation Army invites local residents, businesses, and organizations to attend the rally, ring bells this season and be part of making a difference for neighbors in need.

“The Red Kettle Campaign is more than a tradition, it’s a symbol of hope,” said Hollee Ellis, Development Director for The Salvation Army of Springfield. “Each dollar dropped into a kettle helps us meet the growing needs of families and individuals right here in our community.”
