One person has been seriously injured in a crash involving two head-on collisions in Camden County Thursday evening.
According to the Northwest Fire Protection District in Camden County, they were dispatched to an injury accident on State Highway 7 in Climax Springs.
They located two vehicles in a head-on collision and found a third vehicle several hundred feet away.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash reports states that a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was southbound on Highway 7 when it crossed the center line and struck a Ford Maverick pickup truck heading north.
The Ford pickup then crossed into the southbound lane and struck a GMC Acadia SUV head-on.
The Chevrolet pickup went off the road and struck a tree, while both the Ford pickup and the GMC SUV went off the right side of the road.
The Ford pickup’s driver was airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries, the GMC SUV’s driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, and the Chevrolet pickup’s driver reportedly suffered no injuries.
