Honor Flight of the Ozarks announced that 81 veterans and 81 guardians will depart Springfield National Airport on October 29 for the last Honor Flight of 2025 to Washington, D.C.
Seven veterans served in the Korean War and 73 in the Vietnam War.
Springfield Catholic Senior Luke Lygrisse raised his guardian fee and also presented Honor Flight with additional check for $1,500 that he had on social media.
Veterans and guardians will return from the trip around 7:30 p.m.
Residents interested in welcoming them home are asked to be at the airport by 7 p.m.
