Man Pronounced Dead in Side-By-Side Crash in Taney County

A man from Taney County has died following a crash on Wednesday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 72-year-old man from Forsyth, MO died on private property three miles east of Taneyville.

The MSHP crash report states that the accident occurred as the man was driving a side-by-side with a 64-year-old man, also from Forsyth, when the vehicle travelled through tall grass and went off an embankment.

The reports indicates that the side-by-side was found overturned on a creek bank.

The 72-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene, and his next of kin has been notified.

This is the 112th fatality for MSHP Troop D this year.
