Three people have been rushed to the hospital after a fiery head-on crash between two tractor trailers on I-44 near the Phelps-Pulaski county line on Sunday.
Both vehicles caught fire, with crews saying the fire caused significant damage to the roadway.
Around 300 gallons of diesel fuel spilled.
Both east and westbound lanes of the interstate were shut down for several hours at the 169 mile marker.
