A man is in the Stone County Jail after a shooting incident Sunday.
Prosecutors have charged Chazz Harris of Cape Fair with second-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
Witness say Harris had been shooting firearms and went inside a house.
While inside, a rifle went off and struck a person standing on the porch in the stomach.
Harris admitted to using alcohol and marijuana at the time of the incident.
