North Arkansas College in Harrison opens its new Center for Robotics and Manufacturing Innovation today.
Northern Arkansas boasts an extremely prominent manufacturing industry, a factor that pushed the college to build this facility.
The center is a place where Northark students can learn anything they need to know about manufacturing, helping them to get their foot in the door and start working locally.
The new facility is 30,000 square feet and has classrooms, robotics labs, and maker spaces to provide innovative inspiration.
The building also offers space for manufacturing companies to test their production lines and train their employees.
Northark will also offer full-ride scholarship opportunities in robotics and manufacturing studies through the new center.
