MSU “Party in the C-USA” Celebration Happening Tonight, All of Springfield Invited

Missouri State University is inviting Springfield residents to campus tonight to celebrate the school’s sports transition into the Conference USA league.

This is a significant milestone for MSU, as C-USA is a Division I college league where football players compete at the highest level.

MSU athletic director Patrick Ransdell says that the move to C-USA has already begun to bring in more revenue and attention to the area, and that MSU has already sold more season tickets this year than in the last decade.

Tonight’s “Party in the C-USA” event will start at 6 p.m., and there will be food, music, activities, a meet-and-greet with the college teams, and a screening of “The Game Plan” in Plaster Stadium.

Free parking will be available during the event in the lots and parking garages by the stadium.
